Throwing 26 pots for charity

On 26th April 2020, in Covid Lockdown I took part in the 2.6 challenge to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

Like many other small charities the Foundation found itself in a funding crisis and this prompted me to set about this challenge to raise funds for them in memory of my Mum , Joan Andrews- Tripp who died 3 years ago.

I decided to throw 26 pots in one day and get them ready for sale in time for the online Wimbledon Art Fair on 14th May. This video is a hint at the hours the challenge took and the many processes involved.

I am happy to say that at the time of making I had raised £1776 ( which has just crept up to £ 1826 as one of the two remain pots has just sold)

Thank you to everyone who supported me in the challenge .
